They are better in their habitat, humans are better in ours.

Are monkeys our equals? Where does it stop? Are Amoeba inferior to humans?

Is it possible that a superior species is the one that has the best ability to alter its environment to one in which it can thrive, or relocate to such?

Chimpanzees are 98% alike to us. Biologically speaking.
I remember a question from a biology teacher i had in college.
He said: Who do think is superior chimps or humans?
I said: for example we have science and knowledge, I was in my premed years at the time, and i said that for example we can save lives, medicines, surgery, etc.

My teacher said the most interesting thing he said that chimps don't refuse that natural process in life. which is true.

Mankind modifies nature to his advantage but we are so inferior to plants for example(not in terms of thought) but biologically speaking.
I think we are very inferior too all other species on this planet.

good question.

No, monkeys are FURRIER than humans.

Honestly, I don't really know who has better adapted to their environment. It seems like there are more people currently on the planet than monkeys, but more isn't always better. The monkeys are probably happier, but that's probably just a stereotype I picked up at the circus.

We'll see in a million years! The irony of this is that if monkeys do out-survive us, they won't be able to record it in history.

p.s., Monkeys do start wars! Haven't you ever seen those nature videos where they start throwing stuff at each other, and different groups of monkeys battle over territory?

the most superior species would be one that has the best ability to adapt to a changing environment, or has the widest range of acceptable environment. The cockroach, for example.
Humans have a very narrow environmental range, but have the ability to adapt the conditions to become acceptable.
Tough call to make

They are only inferior because we have better thinking then their stuck to instincts mentality. Don't forget, God made Adam the protector of all animals. We are then not necessarily superior to animals but it is just that God gave us this responsibility to protect animals. This statement suddenly urges me to become a vegetarian. Oh well.

Never thought abt it so far.... sounds funny but difficult to answer. We didnot creat them, they didnot creat them.... but man has concluded it saying we came from them. So how can i say iam superior or how can i say they r superior. We are one on the same level.

Like we have products in the markets......everyday the latest versions are coming. I guess we are the latest and last version of monkeys : )

I'm happy and grateful to be human and would not aspire to any other species however as far as competition is concerned I say let reality choose the victor, as I'm sure it ultimately will.

We should not compare!
Everything and everyone has a purpose for existence!
Without the smallest and more unknown being the Universe would be different!
