The new definition of planet won't be voted on until next week, but the current candidates are "plutons," formerly known as "minor planets."
They include the final and unrivaled acceptance of Pluto; Charon, currently considered Pluto's moon; Ceres, a large item in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter that was once considered a planet; and 2003 UB313, further out than Pluto and nicknamed by its discoverer "Xena."

The asteroid Ceres, between Mars and Jupiter.
Pluto's 'moon', Charon, thought to actually be a twin planet.
2003 UB313 is a planet further away than pluto.
These three additional bodies have been determined to be 'Plutons' along with Pluto itself and this is a new class of planet.
