I think they call it a friend ID but what is it and how do I get it?

ur myspace (Friend) ID is in ur link in ur address bar when u view ur profile.. its the numbers at the end, it says .. friend id=
myspace.com/swtnis

when your at your my space home page there is a address right underneath your pic that says my URL and that's it
