I like answering both.

I love the silly ones because I have found people on here incredibly stiff when it comes to having a laugh, Everyone is so serious when the question asked was obviously a joke!
I think finding a comical or witty response stretches the imagination more, especially if it makes everyone else laugh and not just yourself!!

Serious questions are good, but I do hate it when people copy / paste from Wykipedia and things like that. I only ever answer questions that I know the answer to or have knowledge of.

I hope this answers your very good question!!

A question is asked depending on the level of ignorance. If u see like that, then no question can be silly or serious. It is just a question.

A serious question because you have a better chance of your answer being picked as best answer. With the silly question, what gets picked as best answer is subjective most of the time whereas serious ones can be answered with facts.

I would rather answer real questions and possibly help someone if I can than just entertain, but I suppose I like the playful ones just as much.
I think there is room for all kinds of questions and all kinds of answers. I could do without the nasty and mean spirited stuff though, I usually just skip those and look for something better.

It depends on what mood i am in. If i am in a bad mood i hate answering silly questions. If i am in a good mood then i love answering silly questions!

It totally depends on my mood and the question. Some serious questions do require mental effort and often the day saps everything I got. But, I still like to connect after everyone is tucked in.

With me, all questions need to be answered. Nobody ever think their question is silly. May be later on that's when one will say: was there a need for me to ask that? When you ask a question, you expect to be answered. I guess i will answer any question.

i could go for both...silly questions got my silly answers; serious questions makes me to think more about what to write, and have to do my best hoping that it might be of help to the asker...
