Ugly ? I don't think so. Well, actually you have little flaws here and there...don't we all. Just kidding you. Stay just like you are. You can't improve on perfection.

I agree with some of the above answers...you're very pretty, so stop thinking you're ugly.

Here's a couple suggestions...head into Filene's (or a nice store with a make-up department) and get a free make-up consultation from one of the (preferably young) ladies there to give you advice and what colors would look best on you. Go there without any make-up on and see what they'll do for you. Who knows..you may like what they do, or at least learn a few things. Then thank them and say "you need to think about the purchases". They'll be expensive, so be prepared, but don't buy in. Go to eBay and buy it there! :)

As for your hair, find a nice hair salon and make an appointment with a male hairdresser. Yes, it's been my experience that men try harder and they make you feel beautiful while styling it. Ask him to use his judgment on giving you a new style. Then just go with it...let him style away. Heck, if you don't like it...it'll grow back.

Wish you luck there. Hope this helps.

First of all, everyone is prettier with some self esteem. Why would you think you're ugly? Good lord....
How about not straightening your hair, get some anti frizz creme, lots of conditioner and dying it back to a more natural color...maybe a nice brown with a reddish tint...
Lose the makeup.. use some (NOT ALOT and ONLY on top) black eyeliner and a nice brown eye shadow underneath...Light colored gloss for your lips would also look nice.
You are beautiful the way you are, but if you want a different look, I would try that....

Ditch the blonde; go for a rich looking brown haircolor; get some long layers going in that mop as that do drags you down & this is important: make sure you tell them you want the ends of your hair cut "whispy". Get those thickets professionally tweezed. Line only the top lid, the circles around your eyes makes you look ghastly; use a taupe or brown eyeshadow in the crease of the lids only to add some shape, high light the brow bone, use a peachy bronze blush & blend, blend, blend. Mascara is optional. Thank you for asking, dear.

New look?
1. Let the EYES HAVE IT!
Loose the "harsh" black eye lining/mascara routine.
Try weaning (Black/brwn, to Brown's) yourself to "Taupe"/light brown.
For fun try "Brown" false eyelashes. They give you fullness with out the heavy look you're getting with the black stuff.

2. MAKEUP.
You have features that can be played with, so do that!
Buy various shades of foundations, powders, and colors.
Pull your hair back, and work those features.
1 Contour (recess) those features you're not too pleased with by using slightly darker shades on those areas. (ie. sides of nose to make it appear smaller or narrower)
2. Highlight the area's you're fond of.
3. BEFORE you judge the look, and when you're done "applying" , "blend" to smooth the edges so that they fade to each other (like you would do eyeshadow) .
4. Play with the camera, smile, click, smile, click. Find a Fakeazz hollywood smile you like on you and work that too (that's how the stars do it.)
HAIR: (don't hide behind it) Condition well, and rock a ponytail. Till you feel confident about your "FACE". With the gained confidence you can where any style you like and still feel confident.

Layer your hair, definitely. You will look great. Go to the salon and ask them for tips and make sure you visit a reputable salon.

As for make-up, you suit the fresh face makeup.

Powder, lip gloss and play with a pink shade that suits your skin tone. There is no need for eye shadow for you. Brown eyeliner would be ok, black would be too outstanding.

When you buy makeup at the counter or store, ask the sales person to help and give suggestions and opinions.

Good luck!

Girl, you are not ugly. It's a shame that you would even say that! I have only a few suggestions! Do what you feel you are up to. I for one would not color your hair. Right now, your hair looks damaged and dry. I would try a cut a little below your shoulders and add a few long layers in back and a couple short layers towards your face. You have gorgeous eyes... play them up... try layering your shadow and using a neutral color eye liner, like brown. Nothing dramatic, change your look over time. And please, never call yourself ugly. You are beautiful, no matter what anyone says!

Honey, you are beautiful! Stop being hard on yourself (that's the first step). You have beautiful eyes (blue?). Try a little light to warm brown shadow on them and line just the outer corners of your upper eyelids with a brown pencil. They'll really stand out. You have gorgeous cheekbones. Try a little peachy blush on the apples of your cheeks (just a little shimmer). For your hair: if you're a natural blond, warm it up a little. If you're a brunette, go to auburn. It looks like it might have some curl potential...cut it in layers. Maybe a Reese Witherspoon kind of thing (www.celebrity-hairstyles.org/reesewitherspoon/reesewitherspoonhairstyles.shtml). Go to it and remember that you're beautiful!

You can just about wear any hairstyle you like. I don't think you need to change anything, unless you want to. On the pictures, you have blue eyes and I think whatever eyeliner you wear is a little to dark. Go a shade lighter. If you are not sure what hairstyle you like, try on some wigs at the hairdresser and find out what you are like best.

It's time to cut the hair, it looks like it is in bad shape, a Meg Ryan look is the bomb, Go natural on the face makeup, get rid of all that black around your eyes, don't use black at all, use brown, you are a very pretty young women just tone down the makeup, way too much

Okay, you are not ugly, so the first thing you need to do is stop telling yourself that.

I would recommend seeing a stylist to condition and dye your hair. I think that a shoulder length cut with light brown with honey highlights and side swept bangs ( shorter than the ones you have now) would really flatter your face shape. Think Kelly Clarkson.
