Is it true that if you squish a coackroach it will spread it's eggs? Whats the best way to get rid of them / kill them? they make my skin crawl and i'm in asia where there's loads.

it is true that if you squash them they will spread their eggs, the best way to kill them is to flick them on their back and then they will die because they can't flick back over and sufficate.

Of course kill them--just as many as you possibly can. Yes, a squished cockroach will leave it's eggs behind to hatch . They look like little reddish brown pellets and one can house hundreds of babies. I say flush em if you see em. Be careful when you stomp the suckers, they will lodge themselves in the soles of your shoe and hatch later.

When you squish them, the parent carrying them dies and so do the eggs unless they are in the little sack the parent carries. Squish that too. Use those little poison bait traps behing everything in your house and that should kill them.

i am also in asia.there are atleast a hundread cockroaches here. this is what i do. i wipe the kitchen floor at night and then spray anti cockroach powder all over the house. i also keep the garbage out of the house at night and wash all dishes and keep away food at night. if food is left outside, they smell the food and come.

Cochroaches carry their eggs in a packet on the end of their bum. If they do have an egg pack on and you step on it they'll be squished to and probably eaten by other cochroaches.

Poison them with something that sticks around long enough to poison their carnivorous offspring as they hatch. Sevin powder seems to work well, it is a bit messy though.

Boric Acid.Not the kind in the drug store but the the kind for pest control.

see if you can get ortho boric acid there, and put it in small jar lids and slide under fridge, stove , in the back of cabinets , under the sink etc.
