What's a good excuse for not paying a bill? (That I haven't heard before) Please read details before answering

I'm currently employed as an outsourced agent working collections for a cellular service provider. I've heard a lot of excuses. Some were pretty good - others not so much. I'm looking for someone that can give me an excuse I haven't heard before.

Customer: Hello

Collection Agent: Hello, may I speak to Bob Loblaw?

Customer: May I ask who's calling?

Collection Agent: Kenneth from Nextel - yes I know our service sucks

Customer: Oh, I'm Bob's brother and he won't be available for atleast 90 days. He's had some problems with non payment of child support. Can I take a message?

Collection Agent: Oh, umm, oK could you tell him to call Kenneth at 1.800.555.1212 ext. 279? It's urgent that I speak with him.

Customer: Do you accept collect calls?

Collection Agent: Oh, umm. . . . . .thank you for choosing Nextel and yes, I know our service sucks.

I was fishing this morning with my wife. I had the money in my hand to show her I was going to pay the bill as soon as I got home. A fish jumped out of the water, over the boat and took the money right out of my hand.
