If by "religious" you mean "spiritual" then yes.
No, really, sex can be a seriously spiritual experience.
If there's enough love between the both of you, and an
emphasis is placed on love and not orgasm, then yes,
sex can be a completely spiritual, even religious experience
completely regardless of what position you use.
If you want intimate sex, I say avoid positions where
you're not facing each other.....
