ok i want to start a polictial blog. what should i use, where should i post it. any tips or tricks to get it read. all the blogers get cracking on this. thanx

Use blogger. It's the best & easiest out there.

It's all about promoting. You have to submit your site to a bunch of the free submission websites. These sites will haves links to your blog, and eventually people will find it.

It'll start out slow, but slowly it'll get better. But you have to keep it updated. I used to be on top of my blog, now I don't update it too often. Now hardly anyone comes to my site.

If you want to take a look at a functioning blog (I don't care what your political party is; I'm using this as a viewable source) take a look at mine. Haven't updated in a while, but here's what some of the "blogger-made" blogs look like.

[NOTE] I just went to my site, and it's looking kind of weird right now. It normally looks better. I'll check into it, but you get the general idea.

I would first go and find a free blog and then register a website that is catchy and then submit it to a bunch of search engines and then advertise it heavily on any other webisites for blogs that you know... hope that helps...
