because you are not thinking .this is yahoo answers ,to ask questions means that you get punished.
this is government training because they do not want a public that asks too many questions .
obviously you are pigheaded and refuse to learn or take a hint .so they will keep on punishing you untill you tow the line or illiminate yourself beyond points.
do like everybody else who has been trained into obedience and get rewarded by answering questions .
first it goes slow ,but as you go along you can answer more questions and then vote for best answer as well.
in the end the empty carrots drag you towards fame or infamous status ,and you become really important ,
to whom i have yet to find out ,to your self probably.
so press on ,do the right thing and your reward will be happiness and you will not have anything wrong with you anymore

Everyone looses 5 points when they ask a question, just answer 3 questions to regain your points and also when you pick a best anwer you will get 3 points back :)

There is no free lunch. You need to pay for what you receive from others. Hence, when you seek others' answers by asking a question, it rightly costs you 5 points. But, why do you grieve? You answer enough number of questions to recoup your stock.

i ask the max amount of question everyday reguardless of the 5 point cost . You'll get it back . It's a slower climb , but its worth it
