This type of problem is often caused by a faulty brake switch. Your car, along with many others have this safety feature which requires you to step on the brake to get it out of park. Easy test is to see if your brake lights are working. If not, replace the brake switch located on the brake pedal and you should be good to go.

This is NOT an ABS problem. Check and see if your car is equipped with a system that requires you to have the brake pressed when you shift out of park. If so, it may need an adjustment.
