People say everything has its own pro's and con's, well you tell me one good reason why I should even consider it?(my parents are trying to force it on me)

You meet someone for an hour a day for a couple of months, both of you in your best behaviour you fall head over heals in love - You live 24 hours a day month -in, month-out, put up with all the crankiness- yours, and your partner's -that, sadly is marriage. You normally tend to choose on a whim-with no regard for cultural similarities, educational similarities, social similarities etcetra which determine the long term adaptability, well! except in the event that you have already fallen head-over-heels, you stand a better chance if your parents choose your partner- holding veto rights if you really don't like their choice.The chances of a longer relationship is higher in an arranged marriage

the relationship after marriage is completly different from that before marrage even if it is a love marrage and
arranged marages are better that both have blank ideas on each other and try to understand each other and create a new love so it is a better way

thats the reason most of the love marriage fails coz they spent there love b4 marriage, but in arrange marriage they preserve there love 4 there mate n give them after marriage

well some parents they think it is customary to arrange marriage for they kids, especial some African and eastern Indiana. but the truth is I think everyone has a right to marry who they want to. whom they love any way it is up to you and your parents, but some parents they think you have no respect for them and they may do something to hurt you or the gal you like. talk to them and tell them your feelings.

they may know best for you, and you may never do any better than what they have set up for you....just try it and see what happens, you can always get a divorcee later if it doesnt work, but you'll always have then as your parents...you must come from a forgein country.

if you live in the usa and you are 18 you are an adult and you can do what you want this isn't the 1900 just say nooooooooooooo.
