When I reach the bottom of the detergeant bottle, the recessed collar around the easy pour spout traps some liquid. Now, a cynical person might suggest that the company is trying to get you to buy another bottle sooner!
I pierce a hole in the bottom corner of the plastic bottle and let the remaining liquid pour out while I hold the cap under the hole. Try a phillips screwdriver or the point of a pair of sharp scissors!
It always comes out to be enough liquid for one more load of laundry...what do you think?

Great idea. I know people are saying just add water but I like this idea better even though it's more work. If you add water you don't really know how much detergent you're getting because it's diluted.

This would work. Also once the bottle is empty fill it with water, and there is enough more for 2 or 3 more loads. And when you measure you only need about half what the bottle tells you. Your right, they are in business to sell soap.

An easier way than all that, is to add;
Tap Water to the container, and shake well. Liquid laundry detergent is a lot like shampoo, in-that-they, are so concentrated, they will work just fine, if you mix, one part liquid + 10 parts Water. Both will last much longer, and rinse out much better.

Good Luck

The collar is to control flow and an attempt to keep over-worked and stressed "housewives" from adding too much detergent.
