When the other countries (like usa )never interfear.
When both leaders will truly try for it.
When both countries erradicate terrorism.

No end in sight as yet, requires democracy in pakistan first, people to people interaction to end the mistrust, realisation that blodshed will not solve the problem, a genuine concern for the people of Kashmir and their grievances, and acceptance of the fact that India will never consider giving up parts of Kashmir presently with India.
The problem with pakistan is that since the premise on which the nation was founded is not valid and tenable any more, as more muslims live in india in harmony than in pakistan, the politicians who are all scions of rich families and dont want to give up their land, money and power to the people, concoct such stories to keep the common man occupied and diverted from the real issues of poverty, corruption etc. No politician's son has ever fought for this cause on either side of the fence!

Although India may want to treat this issue as closed and keep it under cold storage, Pakistan wants to keep it alive and force a solution, either peaceably or by force, either overt or covert. Cold war is not the appropriate word to treat the relations of these two countries. They have fought three major wars and a proxy war and are still engaged in frequent exchanges of fire. May be the referecne to Kashmir brings the image of a cold clime and hence the relationship between these two countries on account of the cold region compels you to call it a cold war.

Until Pakistant estimates the India's International value in peace, globalisation, democratic values etc. Then Pakistan will automatically found India is not at all considering Pakistan as an enemy but as a neighbouring nation. Pakistan is not in a range of fight with any nation, because it is a terror making machine, terror loving nation, muslim nation, Jihadhi nation etc. I could not compare India with Pakistan. Both are stratagically differing and ideology has different at various levels. Pakistan has earned some mony by foolishing USA and UK.

when USA stops aiding pakistan.
pakistan will be forced to dismantle its terrorist organisations.
that will force pakistan to stop terrorism in Kahmir.

This is an area (territorial land) dispute. Unless they agree to have equal share of the Khasmir region, there will be no other solutions to this problem.
