If the stinger is still there, it was a honeybee, not a wasp and the stinger needs to be removed. Remove using a pair of tweezers on the stinger shaft near the entry point at the skin.
In either case, applying a solution containing meat tenderizer will help break down the proteins in the stinger poison. Ice is a good idea to slow the distribution of the poison. Taking an antihistimine can prevent allergic reaction as well.

A good way to extract the stingerr is to use an OLD razor pulled SLOWLY over the stinger. A used razor will catch the stinge and pull it out. Do it slowly so you don't slice it off.
Household ammonia or Clorox will kill the poison. Ammonia destroys the amino acids of the poison and nothing can live in bleach.

try baking soda add some water to it so it looks a little bit like glue slap some on the sting and let it dry it will remove the stinger and take away some of the itch pain or whatever. Also since the question is under alternative medicine mud works too you just have to sit there with mud on your arm till it drys same thing.
sources: my mother did it for me and now I do it for my kids I swear it works.

isoak in warm water with a ton of baking soda...that is if its
on a body part that you can soak in a bowl or bucket,
otherwise, run a warm bath and dump a whole box of
baking soda in it . You could also put a facial mud on
the sting--- did that for a spider bite and it drew a lot of
the toxins out. Plus take a couple or 3 of Benedryl.

EPSOM SALTS! To dry out the poison in the wound. Make sure you've removed the stinger...but DO NOT SQUEEZE it out, that only forces more poison into the wound. Try to scratch or draw it out with a needle.
I've also heard moistened tobacco works as well, to draw out the poisons.

Ice it down
Cortisporin, or Bacitracin
And cover for one day with a bandage.
