A high ranking official at the BBC said this ...." I'm sick and tired of
white people reporting news from Africa" ..( yep, she is a Negro) as white people cannot possibly reflect the the culture of this nation "....... She is refering to the journalist contingent desinated - on merit- by the BBC to report from Africa as well as other predominantly 'black' nations in that ALL the reporters should be black themselves !!!!.........She went on to say ...." black reporters
have a sensitive understanding and could deliver a more accurate storyline as they understand the difference white reporters dont have" ......EH !!! ....WHAT THE HOLY SH@T IS GOING ON HERE !!! ???.......can anyone out there with an ounce of common sense tell me why it is always a Negro that could make a totally assinine statement like this????...because I'm fooked if I know .........Its over to you.

racism is racism is racism, regardless of the color mouth it comes from. That said native reporters, of any color, of course have an advantage to understanding and also perhaps a more accurate picture of their homeland. This however can color (NO pun intended) their reporting of a situation if they have ties to a certain side of the issue at hand. So the holy grail of *objectivity* (does anyone believe it exists anymore?)is diminished. eg. Hizballah feeding the press information unverified anywhere else.

If a white idiot made the same stupid statement about blacks, he'd be tied up and tortured by the liberal media. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be marching in front of the white official's house.

I would say that is a racist statement that she should be sacked for. Does she come from forest gate or notting hill?? I suspect not. She was probably educated in an exclusive European finishing school to make such a purile statement.

simply put? bollix. and anyone who believes this makes me believe that they're not only narrow minded but a hair on the racist side as well.

and why should she be able to get away with spouting this manure? she shouldn't. maybe you could post a quick note to the BBC and let them know why this is so offensive and should not be tolerated.

The womans a bloody ar$ehole, and i'm black. I totally disagree with what she says. It doesn't matter whose doing the reporting as long as the facts are correct.

I think the most important thing about news reporting is accurate, factual information. I don't care who it is or what they look like, just give me the story, and give it to me straight.

i am with you 100%. I am not prejudice in anyway but it does seem like african americans are the first one to "cry out" about something as insignificant as a reporter doing their job. But when they do something that is not kosher in our eyes its out fault. I don't get. at all
