Is it just me or does all this seem a little to easy? So after 10yrs on the run this guy basically just gives up and confesses? Even to the point of saying to the press when asked "are you innocent" he says "no." I guess he is not planning for his defense.
I'm not saying hes not the one I just think there is a lot more to this whole thing and a lot of **** we don't know yet.
This guy's apparent calmness and willingness to just give it up is just spooky.

Patsy Ramsey knew about the investigation prior to her death. It may have given her some comfort to know that the monster would finally be caught.
JonBenet's murder was high profile. Many children are murdered and the story barely gets mentioned in the press.
Unless a person has lived through the horrors of the murder of their child and the agony of the trial and justice system, it is difficult to understand the grief, stress and pain of the parents. The self-help organization, Parents of Murdered Children, provides some relief to those parents. POMC members provide emotional support, education, prevention, advocacy, and awareness.
The news media interviews the parents and family members and asks about "closure" after the trial. There is no closure in such a situation. Nothing can bring about the death of a loved one.
What POMC parents try to do in a pro-active way is to lobby for tougher legislation. For truth in sentencing which forces the state to keep a prisoner in prison for at least 75% of his sentence. And for sentencing guidelines which mandate the sentence for murder, rape and child molestation. The parents do this because each time another child is harmed the pain is almost as acute as if it happens to their own child. Those parents attend the fiscal impact meetings and know that it costs about $30,000 per year to keep an individual in prison and that state governments must manage limited resources while providing the populace with a "sense" of security.
It is very difficult to provide security whether it is for children home asleep in their beds or from militant terrorists.
I do not think that it is sad that Patsey Ramsey died before her daughter's murderer was caught. She was spared the agony of the trial and facing the monster that murdered her beautiful daughter.
It is very, very difficult for the parents to dissipate the anger and hatred that they feel. Only spiritual guidance can help.

"Beyond the grave"? What drugs are you taking? Fairy tales don't solve problems; in fact, it's because people idiotically waste time on fairy tales and easy answers instead of checking the facts and doing the hard work that cases like Jon-Benet Ramsey go unsolved and unpunished.
As for how long it took, think back to the "ritual satanic abuse" trials of the 1980s: some people spent over a decade in prison because of coached and coerced "testimony" of children for crimes that never happened.
Police and prosecutors have always been lazy and look for a convenient and easy to convict person; most times, it is the most obvious person who committed the crime, but not always.

I am surprised it took this long to catch him. I am even more surprised anyone was even still looking. It seems almost a waste of polive respirces. I am all for solving crimes, but were there no other missing children? No other murderers (still at large and in the US) to be caught? I guess when you have more money than you know how to spend, police priorities are shifted in your favor.

The accused certainly has some psychological topics -- no matter if he killed her or not. we ought to clear out each and every little thing he says by ability of that -- per chance he did %. her up from college and supplies you her drugs before to get to entice close her and get get admission to into her existence and into her abode. per chance it truly is why there have been no tracks interior the snow and no compelled get admission to -- he became her pal. per chance he's only studied the case so long, he thinks he became "mutually with her" in his concepts even as she died -- per chance he became there with somebody else. He has married a pair (a minimum of) very youthful females. we can only ought to work out. My gut instinct is that he only needs the interest because his existence is so undesirable he only must be locked away to flee it. to take heed to his existence, you should ask your self how he can stay without a moral experience that drives him more beneficial insane via the day..... I only wish the police do an intensive study instead of only jumping in this guy to positioned this terrible piece of unsolved heritage to relax. I hate to be so cynical, even if it truly is not user-friendly to trust all and sundry at the moment...... it type of feels that the more beneficial "upstanding" they are the more beneficial terrible their secrets and techniques are. per chance it truly is a supply away -- genuine people have genuine complications and do not seem modern and "mutually" each and every of the time.

Actually, I was reading the updates about the case today online and she knew about the suspect a month prior to her death. Maybe that put her more at easy that her daughter's murder would be brought to justice. I think it's great they caught him!

no, i don't think that's it because the article i read said that they knew about the police suspicions exactly one month before patsy ramsey died. I think there are too many things that doesn't fit. like how did that guy get in and kill that little girl and get out with out anyone seeing him. and how did he get down to the basement. there is alot more to it than what's being told.
