I found it about 5 months ago while showering, but thought it was nothing. It is a bit discolored around the area, and about 5 months ago it was injured so i thought it was just an after effect!..

Please have a doctor look at it. The sooner the better. The quicker you do it, the better chance you will be okay.

I know you're scared. Having a family history of breast cancer would make anyone assume the worst. You need to tell your Mom as soon as you can. She'll probably tell you it's nothing, but ask to see a doctor anyway--even if it's only to allay your fears. It's better to be proactive and while at the doctor you can learn how to do monthly self breast exams.

I'm sure you'll be OK. Good luck, sweetie.

This does not sound like cancer, so relax. A cancerous lump is usually hard, has no color to it (unless it's a skin cancer which wouldn't be a lump) and doesn't hurt. So whatever your injury was, that's probably the effect of it. It should go away on it's own, but if it gets worse or grows larger you should see a doctor about that.

OK. There is a slight possibility that it could be beast cancer. Go see your doctor right away! but on the positive side, it could just be swollen, or an ingrown hair. But you have to be proactive about this. The longer you wait the worse it will get. See your doctor IMMEDIATELY!

You're still in the middle of puberty and developing, it could just be an irregularity in your breast growth. However, please go see a doctor to put your mind at ease. <3
