Some people believe ghost are restless spirits who linger on because of some reason or another. Others say they are just a bit of left over energy of those departed... An active memory if you like.

I believe ghost are everywhere and present all the time. For example, some people swear there are ghosts in the office but only they seem to see it; why?

Because like people, ghosts also choose to whom they reveal themselves to (They were people at one time you know!) So ghosts are present in the house already but only choose to reveal themselves to some. These are spirits whom I believe are in what is generally known as purgatory; a suspended sentence of indifinate period so they are doomed to linger with no contact with the living. However, when a member of the living with whom they have affinities with cross their path they will make themselves known.

On the other hand, there are the non-human, non ghost variety. Demons if you must. Spirits of evil natures who chooses to commit evil in the world even if it means enslavement to another. These are to be avoided at all cost. While some amongst us might claim ascendence over such fiends, I don't what to be there the day they meet their match!

Lastly, while we live in our environment, it is just one part of reality. the entire reality consist of many layers within the same space, that is what is generally known as dimensions or realms of reality.

Ghost are on a different plane of reality, that is why many of the rules of our reality do not bind them. Just think of it as superman back home couldn't fly but on earth he could!

So think not so much that ghost get into a house as a house being constructed round a ghost, mostly. There are only scattered cases of ghost of our dearly departed sticking around!

Look at it this way...there are microscopic organisms that the
human eye cannot see. Right ? So, just because we can't see
it doesn't mean they aren't there. Because the truth is, they are.
Now, my evil ex-husband said when he dies he WANTS to be
a poltergiest, and haunt and scare people. He was serious...
So, maybe people like him, go to Purgatory. Which is a total
seperation from God. But there are little children....I don't know
why a little kid would he here still, floatin around. But I believe
there is an energy field or energy source that leaves memory
cells. And only sensitive people can pick up on this....I myself has
lived in a haunted house, once. It was terrifying. I didn't realize
that it was trying to communicate with my ex and I. Our door
handle would shake back & forth really forcefully. It was unlocked
all a person had to do was open the door. It scared the SH*T out
of us. All sorts of weird things happened in that house. I am just
so glad I didn't see anything. We would hear stuff.....really I just
think that certain people who are more "psychic" than others do
experience strange things. I've never felt spooked ever since.

I like your question.... but maybe they don't "get" in. Maybe they were there before the houses were built. The universe if filled with spirits. Some in bodies, like you and me. And some out of bodies, like you and I used to be and will be again someday. So a better question might be how do spirits get into bodies?

But I heard a theory once that you might like.... Sometimes people die and they are still very much attached to something or someone in the physical world. They don't want to let go and they don't want to leave this realm. Much the same as when people don't want to let go of their dearly departed. So they cling to each other in this realm and become ghosts. Sometimes it is comforting to their loved ones and you hear people talk about feeling their loved one's spirit or hearing their voices. Sometimes people believe their deceased grandparent or some other close relative has become their guardian angel. At any rate, they serve a purpose. They are there because they want to be. And since they have no physical body, they go any where they damn well please. Kinda cool, huh?

There are a few ways. It could be that they have always been there, but uptil now you have never notice or seen them. They can enter as you do, through the doors. This could happen in the sense that they have picked up a vibe in the house that draws them or they could of entered with someone else that has been to your house. There is also something called a black river, this is a "spirit road", there are cases that this river flows through or too close to a house and then you get some activity in the house. hope that helps ;o]

A 'ghost' is by definition, an apprehension; a mirage; an imaginary picture of a hazy, misty, ‎ether-like outlines of a dead person or animal that is formed in the dark rooms of our minds, ‎then projected from inside us, on the mirror of our perception as real. ‎

This is how ghosts get into the houses. Through us. We bring them in. We create them under ‎abnormal emotional stress, upheaval or dilemma, and when they are formed in our minds our ‎subconscious takes them for real pieces of memory that have been added to its archive.‎

The reason why we believe that picture to be real is the working of our creative subconscious ‎whose duty is to preserve our sanity. How? By giving you what your mind thinks of so you are ‎in harmony with your self. In other words, so you feel the balance and harmony between your ‎character and your mind, otherwise, you'd go crazy. ‎

Mental disturbances are created when there's a conflict between what your self-image tells ‎you you are and what you do or see or perceive around you. When the two pictures match, your ‎sanity is preserved. That's why your subconscious encourages you to take for real what you ‎imagine to have seen. That's why your subconscious encourages you to do what you believe to match your eslf-image. To it, everything you imagine is real. To it, as the unconditionally ‎obedient servant of your character, and the unconditionally obedient guardian for your sanity, ‎any thing you do, see, feel or imagine is part of "you"; part of your reality. So it acts accordingly, ‎and confirms to you that the pictures you have created under abnormal emotional stress, ‎upheaval or dilemma, have the same reality value of the pictures you see in an album of your ‎family. That's how ghosts reside in us, and accompany us wherever we go, not only to old ‎houses or dark places, which are suitable settings for the imagination to complete the ‎scenario of a scary scene.‎

So, to confirm my answer to your question "How do ghost get into the houses?” I say, through us; through ‎our imagination; we give them the right to exist.!‎

My guess is that they entered when they were a living, breathing person and never got out alive. The body may have been taken out, but the spirit remained.

simple, they are just spirits so they can sway anywhere they want, with just the force of wind... i do think that ghosts visit the places where they have been to when they were still alive.
