My mother has recently took advantage of the free yearly check-up for women (I believe funded by the government). She complaint that the male physician who gave the examination may have harassed her.

Now, the breast exams I have been in the past only involved having my arms lifted up while the physician gently apply pressure around the breasts with a few fingers. However, for my mother, the examiner pulled and pinched her nipples with both hands, at the same time. He did it so hard that the skin on the nipples cracked and started to bleed. His claimed that this is a "normal procedure" but I have never heard of pinching the nipples. My mother is in her mid-50s.

Should I talk to the supervisor of the program or go directly to the authorities? Do I need to take pictures?

Serious responses only please and thank you in advance.

i would definatly go talk to someone about that, normal breasts exams dont include squeezing a nipple so hard that the skin breaks, your mom was definatly harrased and i would do something about it, you might get some money out of the deal! but thats not why i would do it, your mother deserved to have a correct breast exam done and that didnt happen, definatly talk to someone!

I have had the nipples pinched in an exam but not to the point where they bleed and not hard just a fast split second to make sure that part is ok but i would talk to someone cause thats not good that they bleed and yes i would take pics cause you never know how far this can go.Look into seeing if there was any other complaints about this dr also. All the best of luck and for your mom too.
