Because I'm thinking about taking as many as possible since most of my peers are crowding the pool with ECs, high SATs and/or ACTs and APs

Is it wise and if so how would I manage to split my time by independently studying each course (College Board recommends 5 hours per week per course)

The thing that helps the most is being organized. Buy a giant calendar for your wall and use it! Plan what times you have to be at certain places, talk to your EC advisors (the teachers that run them or the Captain/President of the Club/Team), and decide what things you just can't miss.
I was involved in Key Club, NHS, and a load of other ECs all while taking an extremely difficult class curriculum. My Junior Year I was taking 5 AP courses, and I was forced to take one outside of school. Senior year was worse. You have to be able to talk to your club advisors about what stuff you have going on; they WILL understand.
You really should focus on one thing at a time. I spent hours studying for the exams because I always felt like I could learn more. I suggest first going to the College Board website and looking up the course on their AP section. There should be a downloadable course overview with practice questions on it. You can study those, and follow the timeline of info that the AP course's site gives you.
Make sure that you get to know the kids in your class as well. Study groups prevent you from having to study alone, and other people have great perspectives. You can share ideas and maybe use your new ideas on the exam. Go to the library and study there with a group of friends. Take a five minute break every half hour and just talk and relax, or you can just meet at someone’s house.
Don't put it off until the last minute. If you are going to procrastinate then make sure you pay attention in class. I was lucky because I had teachers who would give me tidbits of info that weren't in the book. They taught me the main idea of each subject, but many teachers don't do that.
Buy the Barron’s book for the subject, or ask your teacher which book is best. My AP teachers would pass out reading directly from the Barron’s book so that we didn’t have to buy it. It is a useful tool though.
Lastly, don't stress too much, but don't be too chill either. You can' be over worried, but you should remember that laying back isn't going to help.

Good luck!!!

Unless you are SURE that you can handle the coursework, I would not take that many APs. I took 2 in my junior year (with SAT prep and an internship and regular school stuff) and 2 in my senior year (with a part-tiime job, school, college apps and other responsibilities) and it kepyt me pretty busy both years. However, that was the most I could take at my school and I did get 4's on three of them (and 3 on the other).

I'd recommend sticking to AP's in subjects that you enjoy or thoroughly grasp already, rather than just taking as many as you can. Taking a million AP's and not doing well won't help you at all with college apps.

In terms of studying, I am not a big studyer. I always took copious, thorough notes in class, did the assignments/readings and just studied a little before tests and that was enough. The five hour thing sounds excessive to me, but I don't know.

Also, keep in mind the AP exams won't be your only obligations during the school year and be sure to factor in EVERYTHING you will have to deal with before committing to an AP course. Good luck!

If he's doing solid in accordance to the coach's sluggish boom, even if makes a low AP score even if with a best SAT II Physics score, the faculty admissions will certainly confirm what's occurring. i do not experience this seize 22 difficulty is spectacular--my pal's brother is a stellar scholar even if had a terrible German instructor and ended up getting a 2 on his German AP. Get an AP Physics e book to a minimum of attempt to coach your self the uncovered matters.
