Ok I need to go to bed at a regular time. I have been staying up since its the summer but now I gotta get back to sleeping at a good time. Like I will be tired right before I go to bed or like when I am brushing my teeth but when I snuggle down and try to sleep I just cant. Is there something wrong with me? Is it just my body? If this has ever happend to you and you know how to fix it please can you help me or anybody thats knows this kinda stuff?

I think I know what's wrong.Your days and
nights are mixed up,"as my mom used to say."
Over the summer you got used to staying up late. But now that school is starting back you
are still used to staying up late. The best advice I could give would be to take an over the counter sleep aid. There are lots to choose from
but I prefer Unisom. It is different from Tylenol Pm.It's active ingredients are different.Unisom
gets me feeling sleepy fast and keeps me asleep throughout the night so I can wake up
feeling ready. You could try this if you'de like but rememeber take it 30 to 45 minutes before
bedtime and only take it when you can devote
at least 8 hours of sleep.Good Luck!!And have a happy school year.

Trying waking up extremely early like at 3am. You should have no problem sleeping at night then. If you do then do it a few days in a row until you have no problem sleeping. To be able to consistently sleep at a specified time your body has to know it is time to sleep. This can only happen if you sleep every night at the same time. Get in a habit of sleeping at a certain time to make things easier.

Have a couple beers at like 4 or 5. By bed time you'll be really drowsy. Just do that till you get in your normal sleep pattern. Believe me, thats a lot better than taken sleepin pills.

you need to change your bedtime a little at a time so your body can adjust to the change. Also when you lay down try to repeat a word over and over in your head keeping all thoughts out and soon you will be drifting off I have done that and it works.
