I downloaded a website layout from crystal-kiss.net and the instructions say open the index and modify the page links and site title how do I do this?

I'm assuming that you don't have an HTML editor. You can use Notepad, but I doubt you know any HTML to edit your new layout. Try downloading this HTML editor. It's free to use and may help with the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) features. You can download it here: http://www.alleycode.com/

If you want something much more advanced then I suggest getting Macromedia Dreamwaver...or NVU as a freeware alternative
