Tri-Peaks is a funny solitaire game - very simple and fascinating. You have to clear 3 pyramids by matching the neighbor cards, like Queen and Jack or 9 and 8 - one from the stock, the other from the table.

Go to a bookstore and look at the games section. There are many books containing the rules for other solitaire games.

BTW - Solitaire refers to any card game you play by yourself. I assume you mean Klondike (7 stacks of cards, each one card larger then the previous) when you say Solitaire.

Pyramid. Set out one card, then put two cards on those so there's a triangle. Then put three cards on those, so on and so forth until you've got a "Pyramid" with one card on the top, and seven cards on each side, including the bottom.
The object of the game is to remove cards in pairs which add up to 13, starting from the bottom, and not knocking any cards out of the way. You can go up as far as there's space to take the card off without bumping others off. Kings are free. Queens go with Aces, Jacks with twos, tens with three, etc. You can go through your deck of cards one card at a time.

There's also Klondike. Lay out four cards face up, and then count out thirteen cards face down next to the other four, and flip the top card up. Play the cards like regular solitair, red on black, etc. aces go up top, but you can only play on the first four cards. You can take any card that fits from the pile of thirteen, or you can use it to start fill in a blank if you move a whole column. The object is to get rid of the stack of thirteen cards.
