Hire someone who speaks Dutch fluently to teach you. Do at least 3 lessons a week and practise practise practise. Use the language as much as possilbe. Study from books, listen to a Dutch program on the radio, spend more time with people who speak the language and be brave to make mistakes. Listen to dutch films. Ask a lot of questions especially regarding the interpretation of the language. Go simple first and then take it from there.

Start with all the items in the kitchen, then bed room, learn how to pronunce these in their accent, with these words in your vocabulary, you can now form sentences, and you will have a working knowelege of the lang. Then find someone who speaks English so you can ask questions of and write down ever new word you hear, in six months you will be well versed. You only have to show an interest in their culture and they will have you speaking like a native in six months.
