we're on the same boat. and i think it's ok. mine's not for asthma - it's just so i can have a sniff of cool air and i like it, kinda help me breathe and release some tension too.
but if you're really worried about it that you're over the boundary, consult a doctor.

I use an inhaler too and used to be the same way. It is just anxiety about if it happens and you don't have it, then what? Try some deep breathing exercises and try to decrease your dependency of needing it. You take a deep breath, hold it for 10 seconds and then slowly release it. You need to do this to expand your lungs and make them stronger. See if your doctor has a peak flow meter. It is where you force all your air into it, and it shows you where your level is. Your doctor can let you know the level you are suppose to be at according to your age, and health. Also know that if you do forget it, you can find comfort in knowing that there are other things to calm an attack. Coffee is one example. Ask your doctor about others. Hey, don't stress yourself out over it, just tell yourself it will be ok if you do forget it...good luck..

You should not use your inhaler but every 6 to 8 hours, that's
like twice a day, yes i do believe you are addict. It's all in you
head and to much inhaler will give a side effect.

I think you need to talk to your doctor about over using your inhaler. Is this for asthma? I have asthma and only use my inhaler when I'm having as asthma attack. If you use your inhaler to often you can caause some serious damage to your body. Not to mention getting a possible yeast infection in your throat. Please get help.

if you use your inhaler everywhere you go, something is wrong. Either your asthma is not well controlled and you need to talk to your doctor about changing your meds, or you have psychological need for your inhaler.
Do some soul-searching, then talk to your doc, whichever problem it is. Thay have meds for OCD, too. :)
