No but having a history of this they should be looking more closely into what exactly is causing it. Sorry for your losses.

Its possibly a weak cervix but also a miscarriage can possibly be caused by many different things, including stress, too much caffeine, genetic disorders, or a combination of any of these things and more.
Seek a second doctor's opinion and request a copy of your medical records to take with you to the exam. There is nothing you can do except inform yourself and try to find the best information possible. Miscarriages can sometimes be very mysterious, that's why they're so tough.
Hope this helps and remember, this is just my opinion and I am not a doctor!
Good luck.

genetic problems, which account for about 40% to 50% of first isolated miscarriages. Further, some women have abnormalities in the structure of the uterus or womb such as a band, which may interfere with the embryo settling in. And the health of the inside of your womb or uterus should be checked, usually by a hysterogram. The importance of fibroids, which everybody knows about, is probably given too much attention. A weak cervix, which is the mouth of the womb, can cause late pregnancy losses about 16-18 weeks and if this is what has happened to anyone it must be checked for and it is very easy to treat. you need some testing done and your husband needs some testing done to find out why you've had these 2 early losses.

Doesn't necessarily mean you have a weak cervix. Many women experience miscarriages, and still end up having healthy children. My grandmother had about 3 miscarriages, and still was able to have 5 children. Possibly your body is adjusting to the idea of having a child.
But this could also be a sign that you are not able to produce a fully developed baby, and if you happen to make it, it could be a danger to you and/or the baby itself.
Talk to your doctor and express your concern, he/she will most likely run some tests.
Good luck! I know this can be very emotional, but stay strong!

I have a friend that this happened to 4x.I know that 1 St Josephs childrens asprin a day is given to women who miscarrige to help thin the blood slightly to alieviate pressure on the cirvix. But only the childrens asprin,It contains only 80 milligrams and is the smallest amount. They now prescribe the same treatment to heart attack sufferers to prevent the risk of another one. But speak to your Dr and ask if this is an option for you.I dont know if you can take asprin. And at a certain point in your pregnancy you should be on bedrest,it sounds like just before 5 months of development.

Dont panic!
My mom had 3 miscarriages! ( 3 sad unsuccessful pregnancy's) the 4th pregnancy, that baby was born but not full term, she died 2 days later, my mom being 6 months along with her. My moms 5th pregnancy made it! and lived, she is now 33 years old. then another pregnancy made it, he is 31 years old, then another made it, she is 30 years old, then another pregnancy,
ME, I MADE IT! Im 26 years old. then ANOTHER made it, she's 25 years old!
wheew, that's a belly full!! (bless her heart, my cute little moma)
see, it could happen when the time is right. My mom had ALWAYS wanted 6 kids ( YIKES ) *smiles* and she got all of her 6 kids even though the first born only lived 2 days. Technology back then, (1972) they couldn't save her as apposed to today's technology, a baby born at 6 months along, will MAKE IT if born!
By the time my mom had her last baby, (1980) her poor body was DONE, and her body is very healthy after all those pregnancies and MANY, MANY surgeries, so see, IT could happen! Just pray and have faith!
Don't give up! Many prayers go out to you! Take care!

Yes.... I had 6 miscarriages always between 7 and 12 weeks and I have 2 children that the miscarriages came between ... After alot of doctors and testing they found that my progesterone levels would drop and then I would miscarry... So for me to carry my son they had to give me progesterone throughout my pregnancy and so they saved him... It was a very hard time in my life so I know how you feel... talk to your doctor and ask to be tested if that doctor says no go to another ... it took 5 doctors to find what was wrong with me and come to find out this is a very common problem and they can fix it... Good luck, email me if you want to talk....

I am not aware of any treatment for this condition called "incompetent cervix" other than the stitch in the cervix. My heart goes out to you, I wish that I had more info. My cousin was pregnant and had an incompetent cervix and she started to go into labor at 5 months but they gave her some drug to stop it and she managed to carry for another 3 months and the baby was small but healthy. I wish you nothing but the best of luck!

I had something similar and lost one at 4 months, had a cerclage with the another one that got infected, and my baby I just had I went to a specialist. They would give me a shot every week to strengthen my cervix. I carried her full term and never want to see a needle again but it was worth it! I had dr's appts 2x's a week after 20 weeks but it worked! They also did alot of sonograms, like everyother week, to make sure you don't dialate from the inside out! I would try to get to a specialist. They are alot but really good and with my history the insurance covered alot of it. Good Luck

i'm sorry to hearken to of your losses. It actual seems such as you have a susceptible cervix. it is many times taken care of with a cerclage, that's purely the flowery call for a stitch on your cervix. if your losses have been occuring before in being pregnant it would make you think of genetic issues. i'd actual evaluate a referral to Maternal Fetal medicine who many times cope with extra extreme danger pregnancies. they might can examine for a threat genetic reasons or bleeding abnormalities between different issues. they may additionally place you on bedrest during the whole being pregnant after the cerclage is placed. i do no longer comprehend of any supplementations. as properly you will desire to be careful as a results of fact loads of organic supplementations would rather conflict with the being pregnant. Be continual and request to be sure a professional. best of luck to you.

It sounds most deffinately lie an incompetent cervix .. its not hormonal, its more like when there is pressure of any kind on your cervix it opens right up. What you could do it talk to your doc about a cervical cerclage between 10-12 weeks of pregnancy. If your doc refuses to do such... GET A DIFFERENT DOCTOR!
