we are 20 and we do have are **** together....he's a marine i have a nice job and planning to start school very soon. i have never been so happy in my life and i know i want to spend the rest of my life with him!!! we are sooooo in love :)

Your old enough so anythings possible...If you do marry him, you can get all your tuition paid for through the military, also a housing allowance, i cant remember how much it is, but its normally more than enough to pay for a place for you two, plus dependent pay and medical....

I got married "the first time" at age 20....We were SO in love and then I grew up. By the time I was 30, we had SO grown apart in our views on life, future, even politics. It's tough enough to stay married, but when you do it so young and just starting out in life, you HAVE to realize that things will change in your habits, in your needs, in the way you see life in general...Just be aware of this, and talk NOW about how you are going to deal with all of that in the future....Good luck sweetie, I'm pulling for you :-)

I don't think it's a good idea, but who can honestly say? Still, there will be time after the marines and after school. Advice and something to remember: I've only ever heard people say the wish they'd waited to get married.

I got married when I was 19, my husband was 23. We've been married now for 17 years. If you are resolved to make this marriage work, it will work, but keep in mind, marriage is not a 50%-50% deal, it is a 100%-100% deal, both of you devoting 100% to the marriage.
