to truly love someone takes time to get to know them as a person. You can experience infatuation(often confused with love) at first sight based on physical attraction and even falling for someones charms but real love takes time through the sharing of thoughts, feelings, emotions. A week is too short of time to be a deep love relationship. That is infatuated.Thinking you love someone based on looks or superficial interests. I have mistaken infatuation for love but real love is more than that.

There's lust at first sight but never love. It times time and effort from both parts for it to become love.

No, but there is "lust at first sight", LOVE involves an understanding and acceptance which if you don't know the person very well, you can't know at first sight.

You definitely should not depend on love at first site. It just might be puppy love.
I'm not saying you can't get lucky.

yes there is!!! I believe in it completly! Love isn't finding someone you can live with, it is finding someone you can't live WITHOUT, so, yes there is love at first sight.
