download and run ad aware ( http://www.lavasoft.com ) & spybot (http://www.safer-networking.org ) might not hurt to also download and run ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com)

do you have any experiance in regedit? if not I could try and coach you through it... but editing your registry can be risky if you havent done it before... lemme know

Try using the Add Remove programs option as opposed to the program's uninstaller. Go to control panel then add/remove programs. If that doesn't work you need some kind of anti spy. Ad-aware is OK and so is spy-bot but they are shareware and don't work on everything. There is a great anti spy called Giant that you can get and it's probably got a free trial. If the free ones don't work try that. If you have some real malicious code and that doesn't work you are going to have to get a pro to take it off.

If you are running XP and have the system restore enabled to a time before you got the spy-ware you may be able to get rid of it using that. Of course you will lose everything you have put on your computer since that time.

If none of the above work, goto www.ewido.com. and use the free version. It will remove it
