My aunt wants to give my husband her pickup that she doesn't drive anymore... problem is he has to take three kids to school in the morning.. we can't afford insurance, registration etc. on a third vehicle just to have a truck if he can't drive it to work anyway. Is there a way to install a fourth seatbelt so three kids can ride in the truck with Dad?

Best thing to do first is call Texas Department Of Public Safety. Then if its legal pick one up at a salvage yard about ten bucks!

Do not do this. The vehicle was not designed and/or engineered to drive four people in the front seat of a truck.
This being said, you can purchase an extra set of lap belts from any Autozone parts store and simply install them to one of the existing seat belt bolts in the center (bolts are long enough to hold two belt mounting plates) and one to the outside/shoulder belt bolt on the floor or perhaps inner rocker.
Remember, I didn't say this -- wink, wink.

It relies upon on your state. In Missouri, the place I stay, it relatively is a ticketable offense to allow all people to experience in the returned mattress of any pickup truck. notwithstanding there what's pronounced as the "Jed Clampett Exception" that does enable a kin to allow infants to experience in the returned of the pickup in rural aspects the place the truck is the only motor vehicle the kin owns.

yes go to a dealer get the seatbelt set up.you will have to drill into the floor to bolt it in.you can install it where you want it that way.or take it to a body shop which i don't think you can afford. your husband can do it himself it takes a little work but can be done.
