One of the first artists to be signed to the "Beatles" new record label. "Apple". Paul McCartney produced this hit. I enjoyed this song when it came out. I believe that Mary Hopkins became disillusioned when she had no further support from this "new " record label and became a victim of the disorganization of "Apple" and the "Beatles".

Yes, the song, and singer was made famous winning the European song contest in the early sixties. Mary Hopkins was a winner of Hughie Greens British tv talent show "opportunity knocks". It was from there she entered the Euro contest, as it was founded by Hughie Green.
