1) Never walk alone at night through a dangerous neighborhood.
2) Don't be afraid to report suspicious behavior- it is better for you to be wrong to report it than wrong to NOT report it!
3) Let your dates understand that No means NO. If they keep pressuring you to go furthur than you are comfortable with, leave the situation immediately, even if you have to call for a ride.
4) Keep a taxi number and the number of a friendly female neighbor on speed dial in your cell phone, just in case.
5) Do NOT leave your drinks at a party. Keep them with you at all times. Too many women have been raped after their drinks were spiked.
6) If you go to college, have the campus security on speed dial.
7) Be careful riding anywhere with a man you just met.
8) Meeting guys off the Internet is dangerous. If you are going to meet them, bring a friend along and meet in a public place.
9) Keep a handgun in your house and know how to use it.
10) Wild parties are just asking for it. Don't go. There are better ways to spend your time.

That is a question that will always have a multitude of answers.
since the years that my wife was killed, I have tried to answer that very question.
All I have been able to conclude is that the main problem lies in the very nature of mankind, from our primal instincts, to conflicts with religion.
First off mankind, regardless of mental awareness, is still an animal, with instincts, and primal urges that need to be quenched, but due to religious morality, those urges can not be satisfied on command, in short legalize and control prostitution.
Second, people must learn that that type of social behavior will not be tolerated, but it should be taught at an early age , but again our hands are tied, by political correctness and morality, you can't even spank a kid now days, not to mention talk to them realistically about sex.
Years of anger, and collage, have still not given me an absolute answer, I feel prison is a start,but it is not a solution, start with finding a solution to the need , and you might find where to take the first step.

punishment for rapists should be severe. I say go ahead and rape them right back with an 18 inch dildo that's at least 4 inches wide. Don't use KY or WD40 or any other form of lubricant. I say f@#@ them dry. Let them know their masculinity is on the line and rape will stop altogether.
