I'm not expecting to get any good responses but maybe I'll get lucky. I got in a motorcycle accident a week ago today and while everything else is healing fine my arm Is still hurting. If I keep my right arm bent it's fine and doesn't bother me but if I straighten my arm out it hurts right in the bend of my arm well it's maybe like an inch forward from the bend and if I move my arm sparatically like like I throw a punch or anything like that that moves my arm fast it kills it the fast the jerk the more it kills like I was trying to fix my motorcycle and a bolt wasn't budging and finally it let go jerking my arm and it felt like someone just took a knife and stabbed me there I swore very loud lol. It's also numb just left of where it hurts go figure the numbness misses where I need it most. To the left of the numbness is a bruise that isn't fading unlike the rest. When I press down in ceratin spot right about where it's numb I can feel like a muscle moving that spirals up more to come

Ok - I think you probably have a fracture. It could be what they call a greenstick fracture - which means that the bone is not completely broken in two - but cracked like a stick cracks. My son had that kind of fracture - and he had to wear a brace for six weeks. He didn't have to have a cast, but he did have a brace that kept him from moving the bones around anymore, and also protected his arm.
I really, really, really encourage you to go to the doctor and have an x-ray. With it being numb and then hurting depending upon which way you twist your arm - you could also have nerve or tendon damage. So - unless you want to heal poorly - I really think you need to see a doc as quickly as possible. If nothing else, go to the ER and get an x-ray.
Best case scenario is they will tell you that it is bruised, and give you good pain meds at least. Take care and good luck.

It sounds like you have a torn muscle or a torn tendon. You should go to a doctor because things like torn ligaments will not heal on their own...they have to be reattached. If you don't get it fixed, it will most likely bother you forever, or stay like it is and not get any better. I think the numbness is from nerve damage, which can also be fixed. So, please go to a doctor for xrays, and they will be able to tell you if you need surgery. Good luck with your arm.

Did you high side or low side on the bike? If you landed on your elbow and the bike came down on you, then it's going to smart for a good long while. You may have a deep down bruise that is still healing. If it is still tender, it may not be a bad idea to go to a doctor to see about getting something to make the bruise heal faster. Good luck, and ride safe:)

Yes, you should have gone to the doctor long ago.
You might have detached a muscle and only a good doctor with the correct scan data an tell what exactly is wrong.
If you wait too long, it might grow back together the wrong way.
So dont wait, go to a doctor.

sounds like you should see a doctor. go see a doctor, have it x-rayed, make sure you tell him/her everything that is bothering you about your arm...don't leave out the numbness or any of the pain or the bruises.. even if something isn't bothering you at that time make sure you tell everything !! that's the best way to get the right treatment.

The injections themselves are rather minor. it rather is like getting caught with a pin. in case you're rather frightened approximately it and annoying your muscle tissues, the soreness would be worse. in case you've the means to chill out, you would be taken aback at how little they actually do injury. Tetanus and HepB vaccines would reason soreness around the injection website afterwards. utilising an ice p.c.. on/off each and every 20 minutes will decrease the soreness and redness that sometimes take place.

Definitely go to the doctor.
If it is HOT in the area, it could be broke or a blood clot.
Also it could be a torn tendon,( thats what Im going with) as wellas just a badly bruised bone

well...the way you describe it hurting real bad when you move it fast....means that it is very very sore...the soreness will take some time....just keep working it (bending it and straightening it the best you can...very slowly) you honestly need to go to the doctor for the other symptoms...it seems to me that you might have some nerve damage...if thats not a good enough answer...sorry ...i tried...good luck and next time....DONT FALL OFF YOUR BIKE

I think you need to see your doctor again. X ray is a must. If not the bone then it must be the tendon or the muscles or the nerves. Obviously something inside is not healing and needs further treatment. Please do not delay!

I think you should definately get it checked out, you could have snapped a ligament or something like that. I don't know exactly what they do for that kind of injury, but i think if it is causing you discomfort that you cannot go about your daily activities then get it checked. good luck!
