Oh...YOU ARE TOTALLY RIGHT!!!

Jimmy Carter is one of the MAIN reasons we have so many problems in that area to begin with AND HE KNOWS IT.

He gave Hezbollah and Islamic fundies their first real stronghold in Southern Lebanon. THAT is a fact. He was the worst president in the 20th century. If someone tells you otherwise, they werent there, they dont remember, or they were really high.

He has some nerve and someone should call him on that and YES...Jimmy Carter should just shut up and he can totally STUFF IT.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: If you werent there, its worthy to note that for about the last 15 years Carter's PR strategy team has been working hard to preserve his legacy as a great peacemaker and his legacy as president. It's very clear that anyone who has a high opinion of Jimmy Carter was not there and has bought into the PR campaign ONLY, knowing nothing of the trainwreck that his presidency truly was. IT WAS.

Personally I would appreciate it if some of our former presidents had some class. Jimmy Carter was not a good president and is not a good spokesman for our country. It's a shame he cannot just continue his work with Habitat for Humanity, where he has done some good and stay out of politics.

The entire world thinks that Israel was wrong to kill so many civilians. Let me say that again. The entire world.

So, don't shoot the messenger.

You also have your facts wrong. The Hezbollah missiles were a reaction to the attack by Israel not the other way around.

hey don't get too excited because THEY WERE NOT BOMBED FIRST!!!! just trying to speak like you so you can understand me!!!

Israel has 1000s of Lebanese prisoners in Israeli prisons since the Israeli occupation of Lebanon from 1982-2000.

Hezbollah took two ( prisoners of war ) to exchange with the women and children in Israeli prisons!!

Israel attacks Lebanon's infrastructure and civilian buildings killing tens of civilians on the first day.

Hezbollah retaliates by firing rockets at Northern Israel and later Haifa!!!!

this is how it all started.

so they were NOT BOMBED FIRST!!!! see!

you are 44??!!! too bad you sure don't sound as mature as you should be!!

first of all you need to stop getting false information from your conservative propaganda crap and try to find facts ( not FOX news)

second of all, why are you bothered so much by what he said? shouldn't we say what we want to say when we wanna say it??
isn't that in the constitution some where??
or does it hurt you when some one criticizes Israel just cause some dumbass pastor told you you shouldn't!!

shame on you!! you should be old enough to know better!!!!

It was Carter's stupidity that got Iran madder than hell, and we've been bitter enemies ever since. Iran now uses Hezbollah as a weapon against the West (for whom the Jews are a proxy nation).
So Carter is the last person one can trust to know what to do now.

I should have said next to last. Bush is the last.

To me, Jimmy Carter is a better example of a Christian than anyone on the right.

He had a plan that was right on the money that actually put an end to the conflict in israel. Then he got cheated out of it. But either way he knows a thing or two about it.

Just think how much guts that it takes for him to publicly say that at this time. His son is running for the Senate. For some reason I never see Bush doing something like that, if his daughter was running for class president. Go Jimmy!

Jimmy is the best ex-President the nation has ever had. Israel is not without its faults - it has instigated as many wars as has been fought against it. Like Hezbollah and the PLO, it has blood on its hands as well.

I think you should just shut up!

There! It's a free country, and the last I heard, we can say what we want. Well, so can Jimmy Carter! (and I have to agree with him--Israel is nuts!!!)

They were not bombed!
