Has anyone had to get their high school transcripts while living oversees? Can you just call your high school and they will send them officially, (even though it's been over 10 years since graduation) or is there a website that you can go to and request them? Is it different with every school?

Generally (and I'm going to assume you need them for higher education purposes) the school you are applying to has a form you fill out and then they will send it in to your graduating high school (via postal mail, so make sure you have that info when you go in to fill out the paperwork). You can also call your high school and ask them to send the transcript (depending on your school they may accept a phone call, especially if you explain you cannot come in in person because you are overseas). I'm sure it is different for every school, you would have to look it up to see if your specific high school HAS a website, but I'm guessing a lot of schools haven't moved to that yet, and may not send transcripts because of an internet request wimply because of security and privacy policies. Good luck, I hope I was able to help!

I had to get mine a long time ago and I just called the school. If you call your school hey will be able to tell you what you need to do.
