It's soccer and being the world's most popular sport means the masses follow it. What do the masses know? Add the Internet to the mix and voila, the doofuses come out to play.
Go online to more soccer specific sites and you may find a few more intelligent lifeforms but it's still soccer. Doesn't take a lot of intelligence to follow such a simple sport...and obviously they can watch mindnumbingly boring 0-0 draws. Who needs that crap?

Its a reflection of what is out there. i.e. of the mentality of those group of people that have access to internet.
It is sad to see so many immature people. But the reality is, I believe, most of the immature people actually are, i.e. under 14s.
The fact that answers is somewhat anonymous also allows people of all ages to be themselves, and let us know what jerks they reallhy and truly are.
But amongst the mix of people, you find the good stuff too. I am almost amazed at the amount of good people there are on answers. You do see a wide mixture of ideas and beliefs, and this is healthy and eye opening in my opinion.
Of course, there is too much spam questions and answers to sift through
