is it a cdrw? you probably erased the data on it by accident or did you shut down, quit, or eject the disc while it was burning?

Hi Arun, just follow this steps
Put the CD in the CD Drive - goto My Computer Dbl Click It - Right Click The CD Icon - Goto Properties - Here you can see the Earlier Trac Address with Check Boxes - Select The First Check Box.

now if you OPEN the CD you can see all your Earlier Files.

It could've been many things... such as the files accidentally got deleted, or the burning process didn't finish. You need to be a little more descriptive to get better advice. Are you looking for the files and they didn't show up?

CDs support Multi-sessions. if you previously burn the cd using Multi-session, then you can easily add some data and see the previously written data as well.

Please check your BURN options for Multi-session.

If you are reburning a cd I assume you are smart enough to realize that only a rewriteable will work. Nextly, rewriteables are only good for a few rewrites! Dont waste your money on them!

i know u didn't used re-writable cd when it happened. it happens when u write a cd as multi-session. and when u write again that multi-session cd using different version of nero burner (or any other software) , this problem happens.
agar tumne koi cd multi-session write kari hai, aur agar tum us cd ko fir se write karte ho , to 2 situations me data delete ho sakta hai:
1. agar tumne nero burner ka koi dusra version use kiya ho , mera matlab pahale wala se different.
2.ya fir pahale koi dusri speed se write kari ho aur baad me kisi dursi speed se (52x,48x etc.)
i know u r indian i.e. i answered it in hindi. v should help our national language groom. so try 2 spread hindi as much as possible.
