i have a 98 grand am se 3.1 L v6

its warm here in modesto california, dont have use for a heater. and replacing the heater core looks like too much work... i mean, im lazy

There should be two pipes that go into the firewall with 5/8" hose attached to them with hose clamps. remove the hoses and put a piece of 1/2 copper pipe to join the two together. secure the hose to the tubing with the stainless steel clamps that you just removed. Use cable ties or similar to keep the hoses from touching something that might cause another problem, like a fan or belt or something.
You will not have heat until the heater core is replaced.
Why don't you replace the heater core?

You could unhook the radiator hose's that go into the heater core and use a coupling device that would fit each hose one is bigger than the other I believe one is 1" and one is 3/4" and couple them together and your done. I had to do this on my malibu untill I coulld replace the heater core.

Unhook core inlet hose at core, unhook core return at engine, connect together using whatever adapters(if any) would work. or connect inlt hose to engine return inlet.

take your heater hose and run it back through the engine
