human beings look somewhat agitated in replying to this...! first of all i'm Irish and that i actual do no longer see the racism in touch. I propose, does no longer it in elementary terms be racist if the British weren't celebrating st Patrick's day? and booing people who have been?!? distinctive the replies make no experience in any respect, St Patrick whether the buyer saint of eire, replaced into born in England! that's like telling everybody that they could't have fun Halloween as a results of fact it originated in eire!! heavily, the dude "seerdet" to get a life and enter this century!! He seems to be like the only racist one here and it rather annoys me what he mentioned! the factor is, do no longer you think of that we've moved on from all this hostility?? whats incorrect with English human beings wearing English jerseys on Paddy's day?? does that propose individuals cant positioned on American jerseys? that everybody around the area who celebrates it has to positioned on an Irish jersey??!?! i'm ranting now so I apologise yet for human beings to deduce that it extremely is racist is basically ridiculous!!! =]

Go to one of my favorite bars and drink green beer. Although I dont recommend drinking green beer all night. I did that once and had THE WORST headache/hangover the next day. It was much worse than a regular hangover headache.

My family and I usually eat my mom's awesome corn beef and cabbage. Plus, green beer is a hit in Wisconsin...go figure.

Oh yeah...and if you don't wear green, you get pinched all day long.

Dad's mother was largely Irish. We eat corned beef and cabbage and drink Guiness stout. My brother and my sister wear green, but it clashes with my ruddy skin and hair, so I wear blue instead. Dad shows his cliche Irish streak by becoming wasted and starting fights. He only started one with me, for I weigh 285 lbs. and won powerlifting and martial arts contests. Even drunk, he knows better now. Being in the hospital with a jaw fracture for St. Pat's is no fun for him.

I used to drink green beer - now I just wear something green, or bake a cake with green icing. Don't knock that - my cakes are always put up for auction for church bazaars.

Well, since I am part Irish, and have the red hair, by the way I am also not very tall. I dress as a Leprechaun and go to my children's school.
Of course I will stop doing this when they start middle school...
