I have 3 things. All of which matter on your definition of expensive.

1. Cool air intake system.

2. Performance exhaust.

3. Dyno test.

Cool air intake and exhaust will work together to get more HP, and a dyno test will help you be able to fine tune the small things to get better performance out of your Grand Prix.

Internal cumbustion engines are essentially 'breathing machines.' So, get more air in (via an upgraded air intake), and get more air out (via an upgraded exhaust system.) Or, run a risk and go for nitrous oxide if you only want a urst of power. Any speed shop will be happy to talk with you. You should do your due dilligence on the internet.

Exaust Wrap, Performance Spark Plugs, wires ect., Weight Reduction. It really does depend on what you think is cheap. If you think intakes and exaust is cheap, I recomend Ram air intake, and Flow master exaust system. But a colder engin runs better, just remember that.
