Forgive me for being rude, but some of you people strike me as being pure morons. You read on the web conspiracy theories...and it must be true, right?

Forget the fact that thousands witnessed IN PERSON, millions witnessed on TV, that a terrorist organization ADMITTED plotting, and you can still download the video from BearShare, Google video, and etc. CLEARLY showing planes, not prehistoric birds with bombs strapped on their backs, fly into the WTC. I mean come....some crack pot says think they saw a missile, or heard inconsistent explosions, and actually took the time to write an internet article about it...so it must be true right? I mean come on, no one out there in the cyber world would have a reason to make up such a story right? A missile hit the Pentagon instead of Flight 77....that should come as a relief to the heartbroken families Flight 77...now if I'd could only Google a conspiracy sight that can explain just where Flight 77 actually went. Hmm....maybe Area 51?

Posting sources is always questionable. Anyone can post anything on the web - and usually do. Anything - even traditional news sources is questionable. This is why you need to read all sides and make your own assessments. Truth is usually in the eyes of the beholder.

Wikipedia is usually the most used source on Yahoo answers - it is also the most unregulated and usually biased sources.

Forgive me for being informed - you see it on Faux news and believe it must be true, right?

I don't think that people read things on the internet and take it as the end all be all truth. But it does provide more information than the mainstream media. Intelligent people search all their resources for information - and make a judgment based on a broad range of resources.

I guess it's much easier to be lazy and blindly follow your authority figure. The fear he offers and the mainstream media peddles is much more appealing and true...I'm sure.

Yeah, I don't get it. I heard a report saying that Encyclopedia Britanica online had like 4 errors per report and Wikipedia online had 3 errors per report (but they also had that thing where some guy made up a bunch of BS and posted it on wikipedia). So if stuff on those kinds of websites have false information, why should I trust some whacko leftists who things everything is a conspiracy?

Some people are really brainwashed and they are so unpatriotic it makes me sick so please take down your American Flag, the display of the American flag is meant for the patriotic, for those who love their country. This president has plunged our beloved nation into huge debt and compromised it's security for the sake of corp.bottom lines.Time and again, he has turned his back on victims of disaster, and left them to fend for themselves. He has diminished our country's standing in the world, and has made a mockery of our laws, our rights and our constitution. A true patriot doesn't ignore the needs of the nation, nor it's citizenry, and does not systematically revoke the very freedoms our democracy was founded upon. If you support the Bush regime, what it stands for and what it has done, you are no patriot. Some people believe everything they read on the Internet!

hahaha.. and this goes FAR BEYOND just 9-11... conservatives read the most hilarious things.. like all the "Clinton murders" and countless other clinton conspiracies... and don't forget all the "Iraq/9-11 links" that they constantly bring up with links to web sites that look like they were designed by 8th graders...

but yes... overall I'm tired of the crap too...
