You are, or should be, mature enough to make that decision on your own. Once you are out of the high school "scene" where a gap that large was unheard of and often times illegal, you are free to make your own decisions. I know a guy who was 25 and married a 41 year old. They have been married for 10 years and couldn't be happier together. It just depends on the two of you, if you are comfortable with the age difference, there should be no worries.

well nine years isn't too big of a difference, but the difference between someone who's 21 and someone who's in their 30's is big. There's alot of maturing that's going on in those years.

i think its fine, but when your 18yrs old and hade a kid at age 16 and now is dating a 36 year old, and already hade another kid at 19 but is not married yet... thats bad
