roaches can live anywhere i would wash and scrub everything before you move because if you carry one they can spread you dont have to bomb everything just clean everything peice by peice as it goes out the door to make sure nothing crawled in before you leave if you bomb and you still have dirty neighbors more will just come back

They wont 'live' in these places normally but can hide. Call an exterminator to have your new home treated and ask they treat bedding as well. Replace pillows and simple washing will chase any hijackers in clothing away.
You will most likely see a few dead or dying for a few days at the new residence after treatment.

These nasty pests, will live in anywhere that is dark and damp. Usually in the kitchen and bathroom and basement. They are hard to get rid of and they need to be near water. So many times, they will go to the area's that have water. In our house they all lived in the basement and at night would come out and do their dirty thing. They stay hid, during the day and at night they are all over the place. To get rid of them, you need to bomb. Then wash everything and clean it all up with soap and water. They are nasty !! They even crawl into the pets. dringking bowl and food container. At night I would pick up our pets eating bowls, because they even eat the dog food. I hate them and they are all over !!

No, roaches like water and you will usually find them in bathrooms and kitchens. Those big roaches known as water bugs are usually found under concrete where it is moist but they will come out to feed. You'll see those at night when it's cool. And then you have a house roach.. Those are the pesky ones. Smaller and reddish in color, they are looking for food and it's not likely they'll find it in your bed.

They won't survive living in your clothes, mattress or pillows, most likely in your kitchen or toilets...

they can live everywhere and only smoke bombs using several and putting boric acid along the baseboards and cracks will kill them. boric acid will sterilize the roaches and make them die of thirst. smoking them will kill many seen, but they can hide it microwaves and clocks and never kill them. we did a experiment once with a roach in the microwave with water for ten minutes on high power and it never effected them. i tried freezing them but they can withstand extreme temps.
