Everybody's entitled to their opinion. As a fellow Cobalt owner, I agree that quality has improved. I bought my Cobalt last year and other than the wiring harness problem with the air conditioner, I am very pleased with it. For those distainers out there, my previous car was a '92 Toyota Corolla and it lasted for 432000 miles. Car before that was a '83 Nissan Sentra, lasted for 150,000 miles, and car before that was a '72 Chevy Nova, also over 150,000 miles.
So, back to the Chevy, I am very pleased that the quality is back in with the Cobalt. Very surpised at how quiet the ride is! Cobalt was GM's #7 seller last year.

Hey if Chevy's serve you well, good for you. Don't take to heart the ramblings of immature fools. I grew up in a Ford (Fix or repair daily) family. I switch over to Chevy and now Dodge. You can get a lemon in anything but, there may be a reason the the average cost of a Ford is lowest of the big three! Now Dodge pickup I wouldn't recommend even to the fool that answered back rudely to you that doesn't even know how to spell! You can't fault success.....

Chevys are a fine product. granted, they had a few bad years in the 80s and 90s, but now the quality is better than ever. never let anyone bring you down on driving a chevy product, you are supporting your country's economy by doing that, and you should be proud of yourself. chevys are good cars and no matter how many uneducated fools ramble on about hondas, don't listen to them. according to J.D. Powers, GM tied honda in the last reliability test. the quality is back and here to stay. and fords? ha...the lowest quality vehicle ever built. all preferences and biases aside, fords are the lowest quality you can go. Chevy is to Ford as Mercedes Benz is to Yugo. and by the way, andrew b...your ford went 50,000 km? that's nothing...that's like 20,000 miles. any car can do that.

Because people are idiots.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, when I told people I got hired, a people quipped 'I'm sorry.'
Just ignore those statements... and if Chevies have served you well, then more power to you. I'm not loyal to any brand and I don't really think Chevies OR Fords are consistently better than the other. In fact, if you look at current trends, everything sucks compared to Toyota! lol

You should not care what other people think of your preferences, that goes for everything else, too. .
When I drove Ford trucks, that's when I really noticed the "I'm sorry" from other people, but I liked the truck and simply replied "your just jealous".
How you spend your money is your business.

good for you and your family. everyone is intitled to their opinion and all cars are crap and THEY ALL break down at one time or another. I know I have worked on all of them at one time or another, Hondas are expensive to work on, Fords are hard and there parts numbering system sucks, Chevy's arent the best but they rank up there as one of the easiest to work on, Dont even get me started on Dodge or any German cars. There ALL JUNK but we cant live without them, Oh but I love my Chevy's and my Jeep :)
