i realize there are dead beat mothers too..i really do.Women who take children away from loving fathers for no ther reason than a paycheck,...im just asking for an honest definition here..

A dad who couldn't care less about the kids he helped bring into this world... No hi how are you, no birthday card, no want to go fishing this weekend dear?..... none of that...

A dead beat dad, is a man who does not help support his children in any way. My boys are 27 and21 in that time my ex paid support for 3 yrs, and that was never on time, thanks to his wife, I really don't care about the money, because when he quit paying, the boys did not have to go stay at his house anymore, and they were a lot happier. They still talk to him when they have to. But my youngest tells ever body that my husband (his step-dad) is his dad, because he is the one who has raised me, supported me, and is the one who has always been there for me. The other one was just a sperm doner

The official definition of a deadbeat parent is someone who doesn't pay child support they are obligated to pay.
My definition of a deadbeat dad is any guy who fathers a child and doesn't take responsibility for the child. I don't just mean financially, I mean being there and being a dad to the child. I can't imagine how anyone (man or woman) can produce a child and then not care about the child. It just boggles my mind.

well... my mom and dad divorced when i was 2... i have seen my dad like 20 times since them (im 18) and he only lives a mile and a half away. he gets mad that i dont call him, but he still doesnt call me. one time i was with him and i asked for a 69 cent sandwich from subway, he told me he was broke. then, about ten minutes later, he bought a whole case of beer... way more than a 70 cent sandwich. "my daddys a deadbeat, and i dont really miss him. aint seen him in ten years and dudes still living"

As a man who had his two children stolen from me from a whiney baby ***** who refused to grow up, I can't even stomach the fancy term you want a definition for until you can define the term I put up for you. God Bless you.
