Yep, they sure do. I just dealt with them today as a matter of fact, and I think a part of me died inside.

I do think so. Seriously. So far, I have like countless troubles with Verizon. One time two representatives came, and screwed up my bill, made me pay extra what? Over $200 or more. And several times the representatives didn't handle my request properly. Which obviously, made my bill rise again. Which I have have to pay. Really made me mad. Another time, was getting a new phone, and the representative didn't explain properly the phone can not be used outside the state. Which, made me get a debt of over $2000.
Since then, I am trying to avoid having any contact with Verizon. When I need new phones, I choose other companies.
Then again, maybe I am just one of those unlucky people?
Who knows?
Just my experiences.

I work in a support sector at a communications company...I wont say which one...but a clue is...ma wont you ring that bell...

I see this first hand. This is what outsourcing does. They send the customer service and frontline tech support to india where their qualifications are speaking and reading english. They do not have to know the subject in which they are handling. If they can read the scripts then they are hired. If you try to ask them something outside the scripts good luck. Many a time I get one of them to transfer a customer to me and I hear "Thank god...an American". However, the only way to stop this is they need to hear it from you. Let them know you do not appreicate the level of service you receive from them and are going to cancel.

Hey, Trojan....MCI is Verizon. They merged about the same time ATT and SBC merged.

If you think Verizon is bad, try SBC. The reps who got fired from Verizon are at SBC.

I am switching to MCI now. They are cheaper, and customer service is actually helpful.

in basic terms a grin on your face and business enterprise communicate is all that takes in this interest. you do no longer could be talkative. in basic terms attempt to have each and all of the solutions and strategies for business enterprise issues up your sleeves. i replaced into such as you as quickly as. you will no longer have self assurance, i finished smiling or guffawing long term in the past. And later i replaced into compelled right into a shopper help function, the place my supervisor insisted I a minimum of smile and renowned shopper. in spite of the undeniable fact that it replaced into complicated and embarrassing to grant a faux smile and after long term, I did it and human beings reciprocated o.k.. and because then it replaced into rather common. and that i think 'a grin that expenses no longer something could make wonders'. sturdy luck.

They seem to be okay, but when the contract for my phone is up I will definitely not be going back to them and be getting my own plan outside of my parents. I have had very bad luck with their phones. Coincedentally, I was actually at one of their kiosks today because the battery in my *new* phone was for crap, and the guy even told me they had had several complaints about that particular battery. I did get it changed for free, though.

yes, we called them last week to explain a problem with our DSL...he barely spoke English, and the conversation ended with him telling us what our phone number is. I never asked him, nor was that why I called. I just gave up.

Absolutely! They are such liars. I reported them to the state attorney general for fraud. Twice!

4 more months until my contract runs out! Yeah! Do you get your bills late? I call every month that I get my bill late and they don't even care.
