Considering the warm weather, and the fact that you're choosing an outfit for school, I advise you to wear something that you feel comfortable in. The first day of school is stressful enough, you don't want to make it even more stressful by wearing an uncomfortable outfit. I suggest a nice pair of jeans that you'll look good in, like Lucky Brand jeans (in my opinion, they're the best fitting jeans, are well made, and very, very cool) You can pair them off with a simple white cotton top, you can try one that has eyelet or lace details. Since you probably still have your summer tan, white will be very flattering and will show off your tan. Same goes for shoes, you need a pair that you can walk in, not ones that will be rubbing your ankles, giving you blisters and pinching your toes. You could wear Steve Madden maryjanes (I think I saw some at Macy's recently) or a pair of cork wedge sandals (but only if you can handle heels). If you'll be wearing new shoes, make sure to walk with them around the house for a couple of days beforehand, that way you'll break them in, and they will be less likely to hurt your feet. Your name is Paris, but your last name isn't Hilton. DAMN! Anyway, wear something that will stick out like a sore thumb. NOT sexy or skimpy. Wear jeans and a t-shirt, but get one of those funny t-shirts at the mall. If you have a Hot Cats or a Hot Topic store, go there! Just don't get anything too offensive, or if you do wanna go offensive, do NOT wear it to school.

wear something classy and unique that other people wouldn't have like a vintage top. At least don't wear something from the store that everyone shops at because someone else will almost definatly have the sane thing. just don't go crazy and wear something that is too crazy becasue you might scare people off!

I'd go with a simple, but slightly elegant top (maybe vintage), jeans, and flip flops you can't go wrong!

truthfully, do not rigidity about what to placed on! :) i grow to be like that on my first day of middle college too because I went nuts wondering that there grow to be going to be such an rather good type of recent human beings and that i needed to make a good first impact, yet eventually it did not truly count number. So merely placed on what you imagine is lovable and mushy for the elements! :) wish I helped some!

Haha, same here, I'm going to 11th grade. Um.. I wouldn't suggest a tanktop, bad impression, I like to wear casual, I don't wear brand names haha. I think you could wear a short sleeved t-shirt with appropriate logos on it or what not, whatever suits you and wear any jeans or skirt or what not, just don't reveal too much, teachers don't like that haha. I give nice impressions. :)

my idea:
some capri's or bermuda's in a light wash, a babydoll top with some kind of print (no spaghetti straps), with some flats or nice flip-flops. pull your hair back with a scarf (no print, but a color that goes well with your top), and wear a thick bracelet and some short drop earrings or small hoops.
make sure to put your style and spin on whatever you wear : )

Well, we really don't know what is in your closet. The important thing isn't just to look cute, but to be comfortable... if you aren't comfortable with what you are wearing then it will show. Layering is really popular right now. Aeropostale is a pretty inexpensive, but name brand place. I would get two tops and layer them...with some cute jeans..maybe some with holes in them...and wear a cute belt and some cute shoes...

Worrying about first day of school fashions is trivial and you didn't say if you have a dress code. Go for layered tank tops and jean capris. I would go for a wedge heel.
