Thanks Pizzaguy, didn't know you cared that much. You have just demonstrated extreme ignorance.

The unwillingness to learn, to grow, and to open up to the possibilities of other perspectives.

Ignorance is when we deliberately ignore what is out there. We close our eyes, and our hearts, and our minds, and we blindly arbitrarily stubbornly move forward along a chosen path, ignoring anything we encounter along the way.

It's easy to be blinded temporarily, when caught off guard or hit from an unexpected direction. The danger is when we refuse to open our eyes, refuse to look around us, refuse to reconnect with our senses and our sensibilities. We ignore that danger, shutting our eyes to our own blindness as we shut our eyes to whatever triggered that blindness.

And in so doing, we isolate ourselves within the cocoon of our own beliefs, closed to the world around us and the possibilities that things might change. And over time, we grow so accustomed to that sightless shell, or so afraid of what we might see if we open our eyes, that we forget that we have done this to ourselves.

It takes one who believes that we live in a democracy. It takes one who believes that the government is on your side. Fighting an exterior enemy is control of the population by your elected leaders. Since Samuel Adams led the Boston Tea Party we have been controlled by the elitists who support the rich and control the poor. Black, white, Indian, all. Why should we shove democracy down Iraqs throat when it doen't work here. Wake up and smell the roses!!!

Allowing it to happen.

If you walk around too long with your eyes closed to whats happening around you, eventually you will hit a wall. And it will hurt.

to care more about your own "ideas" than provable truth...

to care more about your own "ideas" than human life

to care more about your own "ideas" than the good of the people

HISTORY is full of examples... on almost every side of the political spectrum... yet few seem to learn from history's lessons...

Judging from your misuse of letter capitalization, and every single one of your answers and questions in this forum, you would be the resident expert on "Ignorance".

Isn't that "Ironic"?
