Nothing will work in one week, sorry.
Take my advice of what not to do. DO NOT pop them. You force the bacteria deeper into your skin and cause what are known as post acne marks. Even if your acne clears up, post acne marks will remain for a while after it's gone. I am currently on an antibiotic and prescription face regiment, so I know exactly what you are going through... also do not use products that are high in alcohol content, such as Oxy. The alcohol wipes can strip layers of skin unevenly causing the condition to worsen. When you wash your face, do not scrub it too hard. Be firm yet gentle. When you dry it, pat it dry, don't rub. Wash your face with regular soap and water twice daily. After ward, you want to put a topical solution on it that has benzoyl peroxide, such as Clearasil's vanishing cream. An alternative to soap and water would be a face wash with benzoyl peroxide, but I recommend the soap and water. Also, keep your face out of prolonged UV exposure. That can worsen the condition. Last but not least, keep your hands away from your face.
Good luck.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

First of all, wash your face, and quit using oily makeup. They have Neutrogena makeup that helps with blemishes, but a powder makeup may work best. You can find this at wal-mart for like 12 bucks... It will help not to clog up your pores and it still covers pretty well. At night, white toothpaste works. Make sure it is the plain white kind and dab it on in the problem areas. Egg whites also work. I know you are probably thinkin you will look silly, but it really does work!!!

Join the club! I'm acne-prone, too.
Key word: Oil Free. I heard Neutrogena's Oil Free Line is really great. Never tried it, though. Burt's Bee's Blemish stick with tea tree oil, among others, was also pretty affective. Toothpaste works on some people, and you must be diligent in you daily face-cleansing.

Don't wear much make up.. if you don't already then wear less..
The best thing is not to wear makeup at all.
Wash your face with water a couple of times on a day.
You can use soap now and then but soap dries the skin so it's not all that good if you do it too often.
Don't eat things that has fat in it.. also avoid chocolate and other candies.
Good luck.

ok... first thing, wash ur face with something like clean and clear foaming fash wash about twice a day. then use an exillerating scrub like st. ive's apricot scub maybe once a day or everyother day. then use facial masks like mudd masks once or twice a week. you can also use zit cream like clearisil ultra or clean and clear advance acne spot treatment everynight while you sleep. i had bad acne in 6th grade. i did all that stuff and saw a huge improvement in about a week. and yea proactiv... didn't work for me.

1. Exercise at least 3 times week to sweat it out
2. Eat a balance diet, fresh fruits and lots of vegetables, low on fat and oil.
3. Practice facial cleanliness.

you cant get rid of acne in one week...some people have been trying for years to get rid of their acne. if you just want to keep your oil in check, theres powder and oil-absorbing sheets. i personally use the sheets, but you have to use them whenever your face is oily. it absorbs the oil on your face and takes away the shine from the oil. i use the clean and clear brand

First of all it is not going to be over in a week.

Secondly, before taking any meds I would try natural homemade remedies.

like this:

"Cook oatmeal and apply on face for fifteen minutes, then wash"

Good luck
